Susan Fletcher, Ph.D.

Dr. Fletcher has been a Licensed Psychologist since 1997 and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) since 1996. She received her master’s degree and Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida. As part of her training, Dr. Fletcher completed an internship at the Child Study Center, Cook Children’s Medical Center, and at the Fort Worth Independent School District with a focus on the assessment and treatment of children and families. Dr. Fletcher has been in private practice for over 25 years providing therapy, forensic psychological evaluations, child custody evaluations, and expert witness testimony. She provides work product reviews of other mental health professionals and behind-the-scenes consulting to attorneys for litigation support. Dr. Fletcher presents at local, state, and national conferences for both mental health professionals and family law attorneys and recently served as a board member for the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) and the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC), the agencies that regulate the practice of mental health services in Texas. Dr. Fletcher is at the forefront of the development and implementation of effective reunification therapy for families and has extensive experience training other mental health providers, attorneys, and judges regarding the latest research and best practice for procedures and methodologies for reunification therapy to be effective. Dr. Fletcher is also the author of two books, Parenting in the Smart Zone and Working in the Smart Zone
